Session:  Learning and Teaching Induction, Blackboard Introduction and New to Teaching Workshop

Day and Time: Thursday 22nd April 2021 10am – 2pm

Venue: Via Teams

This session has been specifically designed for our Research Students who may, in the future, be involved in aspects of teaching and supporting learning here at Teesside University.  It is also relevant to colleagues who have recently joined us and are new to teaching but not yet been able to complete the PgCLTHE.  Given the current Covid-19 circumstances we have decided to combine three core aspects of Professional Development:

  1. PGR Learning and Teaching Induction including the Hybrid Delivery Model
  2. Blackboard Induction
  3. PGR New to Teaching Workshop

PGRS are required to engage in the above staff development activities in addition to the Digital Development Programme prior to them engaging in any teaching and supporting learning activities.  The session will be an opportunity to share experiences, challenges and concerns around working in Higher Education (HE).

Attendance at this session is a requirement for PGRs who will be involved in teaching and supporting learning at Teesside University.
